WHY SHAKING?

Shaking is not a symptom of stress but a natural recovery reflex of the human body which, exists in all mammals. This tremor mechanism restores the body & mind to a calm, curious, and relaxed state. 

Shaking in the body releases muscle tension which calms down the nervous system. When activated in a safe and controlled environment, the tremors help return the body into a balanced state.

In TRE®, the body does the work for you while I monitor, adjust your position, and make sure you're comfortable. I facilitate a safe and slow process, so that the nervous system isn't overwhelmed. What's amazing about TRE® is that you can stop shaking at anytime. This ability to self-regulate is one of the most beneficial aspects of TRE®.

WORKSHOP: REWIRE 

A PURE MOVEMENT JOURNEY

This unique two part group session begins by practicing the traditional TRE® exercises with an extended time for rest and integration. After a short break, the space opens up for the creative flow. Dance improvisation, somatic movement exploration, and other means of authentic self-expression will be encouraged.
